F1 is the topmost class of international single-seater auto racing cars approved by FIA (Federation Internationale de I’Autombile). F1 is controlled by Liberty Media which is owned by chairman and founder John C Malone.
The World Driver’s Championship has been one of the traditional forms of racing around the globe since it won the FIA Formula One World Championship in 1981. It was set up in the 1950s.
A Formula One season consists of a series of rip-roaring races, which was named Grands Prix (grand prizes) and this humongous event happens worldwide on purpose-built circuits and closed city roads. Every race results are assessed based on a unique point system to choose 2 annual World Championships: one for drivers and the other dedicated to the constructors.
The races must be held on grade “1” tracks, which is the highest grade rating approved by the FIA. On the other hand, drivers are mandated to classify for valid Super Licenses which is also issued by the FIA as the top class of racing license in the world.
